    SUMMERFIELD, FL – Larry R. Neilander, 70, passed away April 15, 2013. He was born in Caribou, November 9, 1942, the son of the late Edmond and Hannah (Patten) Neilander.
    Larry served in the Vietnam War, and was a member of the American Legion and VFW of Caribou. For many years he lived in Meriden, CT, and worked at New Haven Terminal as a crane operator, and was a member of Longshoreman Union.
    He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Shelly, and grandsons Ryan and Dallis, and step-granddaughter Lauren, of Summerfield, FL; one sister, Doreen Thompson of Brewer; one brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Priscilla Neilander of Woodland; several nieces and nephews. Larry was predeceased by one brother, Darrell Neilander.
    In his life he has traveled many times from Maine to Florida, was born in Caribou, ME, lived in Meriden, CT, and died in Summerfield, FL. Interment will be at the Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
