CARIBOU, ME & BRISTOL, CT – Isabelle Marie (Lonuzzo) Trudel, 86, wife of the late Emile Joseph Trudel Jr., went to be with Our Lord March 11, 2013, at Caribou, Maine. She was born in Bristol, February 7, 1927, the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Eldina (Quistberg) Lonuzzo.
Isabelle and Emile had eight children and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved to draw and paint and won numerous awards in her younger years. She also played piano, loved to sing, read and listen to audio books.
She is survived by one daughter, Lynn Trudel and husband, Thomas McCarron of Blythewood, SC., six sons; Stephen and wife, Barbara of Presque Isle, Me., Thomas and wife, Deborah of Burlington, CT., David and wife, Maureen of Farmington, CT., Robert and wife, Veronica of Coventry, CT., Michael and wife, Lori of Torrington, CT., and James of Terryville, CT., and daughter-in-law, Caroline of Enfield, Ct. Eighteen grandchildren, including Stacey Trudel Nadeau and her husband, Dave with whom she had made her home. Fourteen great-grandchildren. One great-great-grandchild, and several cousins. Mrs. Trudel was predeceased by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Angela Marie and her beloved cousin, Audrey Quistberg Staubley.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring in Connecticut. Contributions in Isabelle’s name may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or the Jefferson Cary Foundation.
