LIMESTONE — The town’s vehicles were discussed during the Feb. 20 meeting of the Limestone Selectpeople.
After a tie between two high-bids for the 1982 ladder truck, the selectpeople will ask the two high bidders to re-submit bids; both high bidders, Stanley Cross and Chris Forsier, submitted high bids of $4,000 — which was the minimum bid. Another bid was received for $2,767.23 by Jim Cote.
An update was also given on the bus acquired by the town for the recreation department; town officials said that the bus was still being repaired.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Limestone Selectpeople is slated for Monday, March 6 during which they are also planning to review the proposed budget. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building.
