One lucky participant in the eighth annual Long Lake Ice Fishing Derby walked away with a big catch! Eleven-year-old Maren Moir, a sixth-grader at Woodland School, had her ticket drawn from over 1,600 entries in the Ultimate Ice Fishing Package giveaway. The package, donated by Quigley’s Outdoors and their vendors, contained over $2,500 in merchandise, including a propane auger, underwater camera, tote sled and other gear. The package also included a weekend stay at KLC Rentals on Long Lake in St. David. Paul Bernier presented the prizes to Moir, who is the daughter of Jason and Kristie Moir of Woodland.
