Chapman, Ida, 95, of Caribou, on January 6, 2013. Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.


Caribou — Ida Chapman, 95, wife of the late Donald Chapman, died January 6, 2013, at Caribou. She was born in Caribou, March 27, 1917, the daughter of the late Napoleon and Margaret (O’Clair) Brissette. Mrs. Chapman was an accomplished seamstress and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, Russell Chapman; one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Gary Nadeau all of Caribou; her grandchildren, Gary Nadeau Jr., Jennifer Bennett and  husband, Pat, Roger Chapman and wife, Sherry, Travis Chapman and wife, Kelly, Jolie Gibbs and husband, Gary and Shawna Gilson and husband, Al; sixteen great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Chapman was predeceased by two sons, Ronald and Roger Chapman.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Arrangements by the Mockler Funeral Home.
