Devin White may only be 10 years old, but he reeled in a 7-pound togue — also known as lake trout — that was 29 inches long. The Teague Park fifth-grader was fishing with his grampy, Rod Wardwell, at St. Froid Lake on Jan. 5 when the two-foot-long fish grabbed their line. They battled with it for a good 15 – 20 minutes before pulling it out from under the ice — it was Devin’s first catch of the year. Devin is the son of Jessie White.
