Caribou — Yolanda Gisele Geraw, 85, died December 20, 2012, at Caribou following a period of declining health. She was born in Chalain, France March 26, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Louise (Ferrario) Thomas. Mrs. Geraw was a seamstress in New York for many years. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Micheline Patane of Connor and Roger and Debbie Patane of Wappingers Falls, N.Y.; one sister, Suzanne Bosse and her husband, Andre of Quebec; four grandchildren, Frank Patane Jr., Brandon Patane, Justin Patane and Tammy Martin; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Pierrette Thomas and Josete Thomas both of Quebec; several nieces and nephews. Yolanda was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Patane and her second husband, Ivan Geraw.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 6-8 p.m. Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 1 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012, from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
