On Dec. 14 the American Legion Auxiliary of Stockholm held a variety show as part of their fundraising effort for the post. The program opened with four Auxiliary members, from left, Rita Olson, Kathy Robinson, Irma Anderson and Margaret Johnson, dancing to the “Sugar Plum Fairy” from the “Nutcracker” ballet, complete with pink tutus and straight faces! A skit featuring Eunice and Mama from “The Carol Burnett Show,” and performances of “I’m Gettin’ Nuttin’ for Christmas” and “Santa Baby” were also featured with a Christmas carol sing-along. Cookies, coffee and cocoa were served.
