Biddeford – Marlene Michaud Hutton, 72, of Bowdoin, passed away late Wednesday morning on November 21, 2012, at her daughter’s residence in Biddeford, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Caribou on January 30, 1940, the daughter of Martin and Lucy Guerrette Michaud.
Marlene was a homemaker who loved raising her family. She was known as a very strong, caring and loving person. She was our safe harbor in the storm, she was our rock. Marlene had a great love of animals, going for walks and a particular fondness for peanut butter.
She was predeceased by one brother, Philip “Sonny” Guerrette.
She is survived by one son, Ricky D. Hutton and his wife, Caron of Costa Mesa, California; three daughters, Michele Monteith and her husband, Kevin of Bowdoin, Dawn DeLong and her husband, Mark of Magnolia, Kentucky, Carlie Sherwood and her husband, Todd of Biddeford; her finance, Ben Melanson; six grandchildren, James Rick Hutton, Owen Graham Hutton, Ian Martin Hutton, Sarah Ann Near, Heather Lynn Whitman and David DeLong; one great-grandchild, Joseph Robert Near; her special friend, Linda Theriault
A funeral Mass was held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Holy Rosary Church in Caribou. Burial followed in New Holy Rosary Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco. To send private condolences to the family go to www.cotefuneralhome.com
