Students from the Holy Rosary Church’s religious education class, Faith Formation, visited with residents of the Maine Veterans’ Home in Caribou on Nov. 11. The children visited with the residents as they had lunch and handed out greeting cards featuring flags to wish the residents a happy Veterans Day. Students from the Holy Rosary Church’s religious education class, Faith Formation, recently collected multiple items such as toys, books, coats and blankets to give to the Caribou Fire Department, who distributed the items to fire departments in New Jersey to help victims of Superstorm Sandy. The Faith Foundation children are in grades kindergarten through 5.
