CARIBOU — The Caribou Police Department is actively pursuing the suspect of an armed robbery that occurred at a local restaurant on the evening of Nov. 10.
According to the Caribou PD, a lone white male entered Cindy’s Sub Shop, located on Sweden St. in Caribou, at approximately 7:40 p.m. After reportedly threatening employees with a weapon, the suspect left with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Details about the amount of cash taken or type of weapon had not been released as of press time.
The subject was described as approximately 5’8” in height and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark bandana and sunglasses.
The Caribou PD is processing physical evidence that was left behind by the suspect.
Assisting the Caribou PD were the Presque Isle Police Department’s K-9 unit, the Maine State Police, Aroostook County Sheriff’s Department and the Border Patrol.
