CARIBOU – Grace M. Plourde, 83, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012, with her family by her side, at a Caribou Nursing Home. Grace was born in Portage Lake on December 5, 1928, the daughter of Marcel and Marie Thibodeau.
Grace is survived by her children and their spouses, Roderick, Douglas and his wife, Flora, Wilfred and his wife, Carol-Ann, and William and his wife, Sandra. She is also survived by her sister, Cecile Ouellette. She will be missed by many of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Grace was predeceased by her husband, William Plourde; her son, Father Carroll; and her siblings, Harry, Percy, Euclid, Leo, Leonard, Steve, Pat and Frank Thibodeau; and Bertha Chamberlain.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, from 6-8 p.m., at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, 11 Clover St., Caribou. Vigil prayers will start at 5:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Church in North Caribou at 11 a.m., on Thursday, November 8.
