Dooms Day

In the year 4012 the world is covered with zombies and there was only one man who can save them all.

Mr. N, the zombie slayer.

This happened because a scientist named Dr. Breedlove was trying to find a way to bring back the dead. His experiment worked but went horribly wrong. He did bring back the dead but not back to normal. They turned into flesh-eating zombies and their first victim was Dr. Breedlove himself.

So now it is up to Mr. N and the Resistance to stop the zombies.

October 31, 4012, Washington D.C. Mr. N. walked through the empty streets of D.C. with some of the Resistance. It was getting dark so the zombies would be out soon. Mr. N. told his men to stay close.

Just then a zombie popped out of an alley and attacked one of the Resistance. The man dropped dead with his head gone.

One of the Resistance members freaked out and fired like a madman. He hit the zombie in the back.

Right after that more zombies were waking up and stirring from their hiding places. Mr. N. ordered his men to attack. They fired. The zombies attacked too. There were bullets, blood and bodies everywhere.

At the end there were zombies and humans dead everywhere. The Resistance almost lost half of their men. One of them was Johnson, a good friend to Mr. N. His neck was split in two. When two of the Resistance were counting the dead, they noticed one of the zombies was still alive. One of them was about to shoot, when Mr. N. ordered him to stop.

When he got there he ordered them to cut off his arms and legs. He also had him strapped into a chair. After that he asked the zombie some questions.

“What is your name?”

The zombie7 answered in a low voice.

“My name is Dr. Breedlove. I’m the man who created this.”

Then he asked another question.

“Why do you and the other zombies eat human flesh?”

Dr. Breedlove said “because it makes us feel alive again. You don’t know how it feels to be rotten from the inside out, every day you slowly rot away!”

The Mr. N. heard a scream.

“They’re coming for me!” Dr. Breedlove said. “Sisters! Brothers! I’m here!” He yelled at the top of his lungs.

Mr. N. ran outside to see hundreds of zombies coming. He knew he wouldn’t win. So he ordered his men to retreat. They ran and ran to their Jeeps. Most did not make it.

Mr. N. heard screams of pain behind him but did not look back. He heard something strange from the screams and gunfire. He heard dogs barking.

Demons Aren’t Scary

There were two children named Harold and Fiona. They were getting ready for Halloween. “I can’t wait for Halloween! We are going to get more candy than last year!!” said Harold. “FYI, candy is very unhealthy! Only one piece a day is a good amount,” said Fiona. “Ugh, whatever,” said Harold as he rolled his eyes.

It was October 30th and the kids were buying stuff to make their costumes. “I am going to be a vampire!!” said Harold as he purchased some makeup.

“Well, I’m going to be a scientist for Halloween,” Fiona said.

“Ha! You’ll be smarter than usual!!” Harold teased.

Fiona sighed and purchased her costume.

“Yes! Finally, it is Halloween!” Harold said, excited.

“Don’t go too far,” said their mom.

“Mom, we are in the fifth grade, I think we can handle it!” Harold replied.

“I hope we don’t run into a d-demon …” Fiona shivered.

“Fiona, please. If there were demons out here, it would’ve attacked by now,” Harold said, annoyed.

“But we are on the Demon Valley Road, Harold! I heard one of my classmates say that there is a demon that eats everyone on this very road!” Fiona said.

“Fiona, there aren’t any demons on this road!” Harold snapped.

Then, all of a sudden, there was a noise.

“W-what was th-that…?” Fiona quivered.

“I don’t know, but it sounded like a growl and a snap of jaws …” Harold was scared now.

Then a red, supernatural, extraordinary thing flew out of the bushes and attacked them.     “AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Harold screamed.

The demon ate the remains of the children.

No one heard or saw the children ever again. But some say that they haunt the same road that they died on. So, when you go out for candy or walk on Halloween, make sure you check the street name, they will be watching …

‘Twas The Night Before Halloween

By Kristyn Maley

It was 1956, October 30th. The air had a thrilling chill to it. A 13-year-old girl named Susie was walking to school when she felt an exciting chill run down her spine.

Susie wasn’t afraid of anything. She was so excited, for Halloween was tomorrow.

She was going to be a scary zombie. When she rang doorbells last year, she hid around the corner and when the adults opened the door and said either “Happy Halloween” or “What do we have here” she would jump out and say “Boo!”

Susie scared the adults to the point that they just gave her a handful of candy and shut the door as fast as they could.

Susie loved pulling pranks on her family and friends even when it was not Halloween.     Susie’s nickname was the “Prankster.” She was the best in the whole school at pranking.

When Susie got to school there wasn’t a single car in the parking lot. Before she opened the door to the building, Susie heard a blood curdling scream. She quickly turned around and saw nothing there. She thought that she must have imagined it.

She opened the door and walked in. No one was at the school either. She was beginning to question if there even was school today.

So she started to walk back home when she heard another blood curdling scream, but this one seemed to be a lot closer.

Susie looked around with a terrified look on her face and that’s when she saw a person. She ran as fast as she could but when she got up to the person, Susie realized that it was just a stump.

She then asked herself, “Why would there be a dead tree in the middle of the sidewalk?”

The fog as thick as pea soup came pouring in at a very fast speed and settled there, all around her. The air had a very cold, death-like chill.

When Susie finally got home, nobody was there. She called her mom’s and her dad’s cell phone. They both left them there. So Susie turned on the TV and it went fuzzy and then the power went out, but the TV was still on.

Susie ran upstairs to her bedroom and hid underneath her covers. Susie heard another scream; she was really freaked out now. Then her TV turned on, but instead of it being fuzzy, there was a really scary face on there.

She quickly slid under her bed with the comforter and hid under that as well. When all of a sudden, Susie started to scream with all of her might and didn’t stop for one minute straight. Susie fell asleep under her bed.

The next morning, she packed up her backpack and packed a frying pan with her just in case.

When she got to school, all her friends and classmates were there laughing, because of what happened.

Yesterday was a prank set up by her teachers, friends and family. She was so mad at them that Susie started to cry.

Everyone gave her a big group hug.
