What other political offices have you held; what honors or titles have you earned: From 1998-1999 and 2003-2011 – Caribou Zoning Board of Appeals, co-chair and chairperson from 2006 – 2011. Coach and manager/coach for Caribou Little League, VFW teams from 1993-1997. Caribou Planning Board 2012-present.
What is your career background? After 4 years in the U.S. Air Force I have worked in the private and public sector in the transportation and building and ground maintenance fields. Graduated from NMCC in 2007 with an associate degree.
What made you decide to run for this office? With my experience on the Planning Board and Board of Appeals it was time to use that for the decision-making process that is required of a council member and give the taxpayers true representation.
What do you see as your primary goal if elected? Now that we had a revaluation of the properties in Caribou for tax purposes, it’s time to balance the city’s budget and give the taxpayers a break. We need to be reminded who pays the bills and quit raising property tax amounts every year, plus bring in new businesses.

What is your career background: U.S. Air Force, 1968-92; appliance repair tech, 1992-99; dispatcher/fleet manager 1999-2003 and accounting technician 2003-11.
What made you decide to run for this office: I enjoy public service and feel that I represent the whole community.
What do you see as your primary goal if elected? My primary goal would be to try and keep the cost of government in check. I feel that the council should work closely with our Economic Development Group to increase our economic base.
