The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will host its annual Fall Fun Festival tonight from 6-8 p.m. for youths up to grade 6. There will be costume judging, fun and games. This event will be held at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center.
Center hours
The Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon-4 p.m. The facility is closed Sundays. Area residents are welcome to come and utilize our walking track. The gym and walking track will be closed on Nov. 6 due to elections.
T.I.O.S.S. Senior and Adult Series
Outings and seminars to help adults and seniors fall into shape and keep mentally sharp are offered through the recreation department. Two of the programs scheduled for this fall are: Nov. 8, Indoor Container Gardening; Nov. 13, Bird House and Feed Building workshop.

Grades 3-4 basketball
Third- and fourth-grade basketball meets Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3-4:30 p.m. from Nov. 8 through Dec. 21. Pre-registration is required.
Youth ski rental program
The Northern Skiers Club and the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department have partnered to bring the Youth Ski Rental Program back to Caribou for all Caribou youth. This year, seasonal rentals will be available for all Caribou youth and include skis, boots, poles and a carrier for a fee. Rental forms will be distributed in October with the official sign up and fitting night slated for Thursday, Nov. 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Daily and seasonal Nordic rentals are available for adults also.
Pokemon, Yugioh and Magic Game Club
A game club meets at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center on the following Fridays from 3:15-5 p.m.: Nov. 2, 16 and 30, Dec. 14, Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25. Area youth are welcome to attend.
