CARIBOU — Members of the Caribou High School Class of 2013 spent a windy morning outside of the high school organizing a color run fundraiser on Sunday.
Members of the class and community paid a registration fee, and some purchased a T-shirt showing their support for the class, in order to run a 5K race through the ski trails behind the school. At each kilometer, their clean, white T-shirts were splattered with paint, making for more colorful outfits as the runners crossed the finish line than when they began at the start.
According to Kayla Cormier, president of the Class of 2013, approximately $342 was raised through registration fees and T-shirt sales. A gift certificate to Napoli’s restaurant was given away as first prize. Evan Desmond of Caribou collected the certificate.
