With their sixth anniversary celebrated just earlier this month, Phil’s Florist and Greenhouses continues to be a county staple for floral arrangements, unique gifts and antiques in addition to the prize-winning plants grown in their five greenhouses.
Under the careful eyes of owners David and Patty Corriveau and the green thumb of greenhouse manager Meagan Irving, customers flock to Phil’s to purchase the annuals, perennials, houseplants, shrubs and trees that the business grows so well and keep coming back for exceptional floral arrangements and unique decorative pieces.
Phil’s Florist and Greenhouses staff offers full service floral design crafted by a staff of two full-time and six-part time employees, each of which has been certified by the Maine State Florist and Growers Association as both professional florists and wedding consultants.
Co-owner Patty said that continuing education and knowing their customer has been their key to their businesses success.
“Continued education is important because it helps our staff bring our customers the very best products and services, as well as helping our professional florists stay on top of today’s trends,” Patty said, and her masters degree in floral design helps her add unique depth and creativity to each bouquet or centerpiece she carefully designs for each special occasion.
“Every thing we do we pay close attention to detail and it’s all about listening to your customer, because it’s ultimately all about them,” Patty said. “Our business is customer service.
