Pip Berry Candle Rings, wreaths, garlands, and even Old Village Acrylic Latex Paints in country colors for the inspired individuals — Brambleberry Market features an extensive selection of traditional, country, primitive and inspirational items that lend a hand in making a home inviting and cozy.
Since the store opened in December of 2010, co-owner Debbie Sutherland has been helping customers pick out the perfect items for themselves or someone else, as bridal and gift registries are popular at the shop.
Sutherland has gone to great lengths to help customers find what they’re looking for — even arranging the store to assist in the decision making process.
“Our displays are set up to help people see what items may look like in their own homes,” Sutherland said. “We have a dining set and a fireplace that we do displays of our products on or around — it also gives our store a coziness.”
Adding to the cozy atmosphere of Brambleberry Market is the aromatic bliss that wafts through the air from many scented candles and potpourri.
“We provide a relaxing atmosphere to shop in,” explained Sutherland, who owns Brambleberry Market with her husband, Kendall.
It’s more than the unique quality products and soothing atmosphere that keep customers coming back to Brambleberry Market.
Sutherland explained that customer service is exceeding important to her:
“I like to greet all my customers and help them in any way I can,” she said, expressing her appreciation to the patronage the shop’s received over the past two years. “Brambleberry Market would like to thank all who have shopped local — we couldn’t do it without you,” she said. “Thank you for letting me serve you.”
Sutherland also makes it easy for customers to check out new merchandise from the convenience of their homes by having an active Facebook page.
“We post pictures of items that have ‘Just Arrived,’ we post announcements of one-day sales, we post our Wind and Willow sampling item for “Sample Saturday,” and we feature our ‘Artisan of the Month,’” she said, adding that wedding registries can also be found on Facebook as well as other miscellaneous store news.
