CARIBOU – Basil Little Sr., 68, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012, at a Caribou hospital. He was born on July 25, 1943, in Biddeford, the son of Walter and Margaret (Patterson) Little.
Basil was married to Rena Skidgel on July 10, 1971, in Caribou. They later divorced in 2007, but had three children together.
Basil is survived by his children, Margaret and her husband, Clifford Derry Jr., Basil and his wife, Nahar Little Jr., and Malissa Little and her long time boyfriend, Steven Martin. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Cassandra Little, Clifford Derry III, Annete Derry, Merle Derry, Katelynn Little, Tanvu Sum, Jacob Danl, Reno Little and Patrick Burns Jr.; his great-grandchildren, Chole Little, Clifford Derry IV, Victoria Derry, Kailey Jolly and Jennifer Claubaugh; and his siblings, Alberta and her husband, Sidney Whitmore, Rosie Cluff, Bessie and her husband, Jim Paul, Joan Pelkey, Walter Little Sr. and his wife, Peggy, Joseph Little, Gene Little, and Sterling Little and his wife, Yvette. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Basil is predeceased by a sister, Eva (Little) Bruso.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, July 18, 2012, from 7-9 p.m. at Lancaster Morgan Funeral Home, where a funeral will be held on Thursday, July 19, at 1 p.m., Rev. Bud Fancy officiating.
