Back row: Cotey Doody, Benton Plante, Kevin Doody, Kylah Belanger, Denis Dube III, Brandon Whitmore and Hunter Milliard.
“I would like to thank all the parents and guardians, for without their support, none of us would be here today,” said Richard (Ricky) Schmitt Jr. during his farewell address. “I would also like to thank the school staff for without them, we wouldn’t have the knowledge to continue onward in the world. Each of them has given a little piece of themselves to take with us to high school and throughout the rest of our lives,” Schmitt added. “I probably can’t thank any one of you in this very room enough.”
Principal Susie Schloeman presented four students with academic awards: Gunnar Bondeson received the Academic Award in social studies, Ricky Schmitt received the Academic Award in mathematics, Nicholas Levesque received the Academic Award in language arts and Joshua McCormack receive the Academic Award in Science.
After McCormack welcomed everyone to the graduation with his salutatorian address, Desirae Belanger read a very complete Class History which stated the names of all the students who’ve come and gone from the Woodland school throughout the years.

Always a comedic portion of any graduation, Levesque and Mollie Cummings read the Class Prophesy before Bondeson and Adrianna Bither read the Class Will.
The students also presented their Adviser Gala Bither with a surprise gift as a way of expressing their gratitude for all she’s done for the class.
Diplomas were presented by Schloeman and School Committee Chairperson Cindy Noyes, followed by the ceremonious and symbolic moving of the mortarboard tassels from the right to the left.
“These past few years have gone by so fast it’s almost impossible to believe that we will be in Caribou or Washburn high school the next time we step into a classroom,” Schmitt said.
Having officially graduated, Class Marshal Liza Durette led the students out of the gymnasium as they took their first steps as Woodland alumni.
Other graduates included Kylah Belanger, Cotey Doody, Kevin Doody, Denis Dube III, Hunter Millard, Brandon Whitmore and Benton Plante.
