Students enrolled in the automotive program at the Caribou Regional Technology Center participated in the Ford AAA contest by taking a qualifying exam in February. The top 10 schools in the state moved on to the hands-on contest held at New England Dragway in New Hampshire on May 12. Students from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont all competed in the regional event hosted by the American Automobile Association and Ford Motor Company. Caribou students Nick Rossignol and Reggie Rideout placed ninth with their perfectly repaired car at the competition.
