Barbara A Searles (Brissette), 61, of Prineville Oregon died April 11, 2012. She was born September 14, 1950, in Caribou, Maine, the daughter of Lindbergh & Florence Brissette (Serois).
Barbara was a graduate of Caribou High School in 1968. She worked at Cary Medical Center as a dietitian’s assistant. She and David L. Searles were married from 1969 to 1977 in Caribou, Maine. She and James D. Jeffery married in Reno, Nevada and she and Mark Searles married in Reno, Nevada.
Mrs. Searles managed & owned Adult Assisted Living in Dundee & Newberg, Oregon; did customer service in the Deli for Naps IGA, Newberg, Oregon; and managed & owned Adult Foster Care Home in Prineville, Oregon.
Survivors include son, Michael J. Searles of Dallas, Oregon; daughter, Michelle N. Astleford & son-in-law, Eric S. Astleford of Gaston, Oregon; step-daughter, Misty Searles of Newberg, Oregon; sister, Pam Fay & brother-in-law, John Fay of Washougal, Washington; brother, Danny Brissette & sister-in-law, Linda Brissette of Montville, Maine; father-in-law, David Searles & mother-in-law, Grace Searles; brothers-in-law, William, James & Russell Searles; sister-in-law, Kathy McCrea (Searles) ; four nephews, two nieces & four grandchildren.
Preceding the deceased in death were husband, David L. Searles; and brother, Michael Brissette.
A Remembrance Service for Barbara will be held at West Chehalem Friends Church, 16700 NE North Valley Rd. Newberg, OR 97132 on Sat., May 19, 2012, at 3 p.m. All are welcome.
