Sleeper wins four events at home track meet

CARIBOU — The Caribou girls and Presque Isle boys took top honors at the most recent track meet in the region.

Friday in Caribou, the Viking girls totaled 320.5 points to top Fort Fairfield (91), followed by Presque Isle (83.5), Fort Kent (38.5), Washburn (29.5) and Limestone/MSSM (3).

In the boys’ meet, the Wildcats had 241 points to win, Caribou was second with 208, followed by Fort Fairfield (78), Limestone/MSSM (30) and Fort Kent (15).

Caribou’s Olivia Sleeper had an exceptional meet placing first in four events — 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 400-meter dash and 4×400-meter relay.
