CHAPMAN – Sandra Drake, 64, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 9, 2012, at her residence. She was born August 31, 1947, in Portland, the daughter of Eugene Arthur and Ruth (Harrington) Bellanceau.
Sandra enjoyed doing for others and would often take people to their appointments and help them with groceries. She loved to do crafts with her husband Gary, as well as sew, paint and cook for everybody.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Drake of Chapman; a son, Mark A. Rediker and his wife, Marilynn of Levant; a daughter, Kimberley S. Geffre and her husband, Mark of North Dakota; six grandchildren, Allen, Andrew, Alex, Racheal Rediker, Jamie and Garrette Geffre; two step-children, Danielle Kazoroski and her husband, Dave, and David Embleton and his wife, Tara; as well as five step-grandchildren, Phoebe, Joey, Tori Kazoroski and Lauryn, Alyson Embleton. She also leaves behind ten brothers and sisters, Clyde Hennessey, Gene, Mike, Wanita, Jimmy, Robert, Clifford, Doreen, Tammy and Timmy Bellanceau; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother Francis and a sister, Bernice.
Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, with Jeremiah Donovan officiating. Friends called from noon until time of service at the funeral home. Following the service, a reception was held at the Presque Isle Elks Lodge.
