Caribou — Alfred Formentini, 98, died March 4, 2012, at Caribou. He was born August 9, 1913, in Chicago Heights, Ill., the son of the late Frank and Edith (Cassochia) Formentini. Mr. Formentini served with the US Army during WWII and was employed as a cook in the Chicago area for a number of years. He lived in Port Richie, Florida, prior to relocating to Caribou several years ago.
He was predeceased by his wife, Delores; and three brothers. He is survived by several cousins, including Romeo Formentini of Homeward, Ill. and Palmira Mancini of Chicago Heights, Ill.
