Portage Lake’s Jessica Holmes, 21, left the starting gate in Fort Kent to rousing applause competing in the Pepsi Can Am 30 mile race. This was her second time competing in the Can Am. There will be more on the Can Am races in next week’s edition of the Aroostook Republican.
