Volunteers of the Halfway Home Pet Rescue agree, Peaches is one very adorable and loving 8-month-old spayed female. She is clean about her environment, a very contented pet that would be good for any home environment that wanted a lot of love. Volunteers also say that Peaches likes to sleep by your neck or closer if you would let her. She is on your lap while doing computer work and draped over your neck while you talk on the telephone. “She isn’t fickle, she loves everyone,” said HHPR President Norma Milton. Peaches is leukemia tested, has received her distemper and rabies shots and has received parasite prevention treatment. Her adoption fee is $40. Call 492-1722 to line up an appointment to see her. Halfway Home Pet Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit charity which operates with a foster home environment.
