Job Corps work benefits entire county

To the editor:

I personally would like to thank the Loring Job Corps carpentry staff and students for their time and expertise in constructing a wildlife viewing blind for Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge. The blind will allow the refuge to increase viewing of wildlife in areas of the refuge that have formerly been closed to the public.

It is the Refuge’s hope that in the spring of 2012, we may have the students and staff that constructed the blind come out to the refuge so that we may highlight how their work benefits the citizens of Aroostook County.

On behalf of the Aroostook National Wildlife Refuge, I would like to thank all of those that were involved with this project.

Stephen Agius,
