Walking hours
The walking hours at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center are Monday through Friday 6 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturdays 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Gingerbread house decorating
On Friday, Dec. 2 there will be gingerbread house decorating at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center from 6-8 p.m. Pre-registration is required. This event is being sponsored by Sleepers Grocery.
Santa’s workshop celebration
On Dec. 2 from 6-8 p.m. the Caribou Area Chamber of Commerce and the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department will host Santa’s Workshop Celebration. Some of the events will be the gingerbread house decorating, crafts, games, gift bags, treats, hot cocoa, carolers, a tree lighting, door prizes and more. Everyone is welcome to attend. Pre-registration is required for the gingerbread house decorating.
Seasonal rentals available
Caribou Parks and Recreation Department has Nordic skis and snowshoes available for daily and weekend rentals. For more information please contact the recreation center office at 493-4224.
