Hallett, Martha E., 85, died March 18, 2007 at a Mars Hill healthcare facility. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2007 at the Mars Hill Full Gospel Assembly. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

   Mars Hill – Martha E. Hallett, 85, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife of the late Frank “Bud” Hallett, died March 18, 2007 at a Mars Hill healthcare facility following a brief illness. She was born in E. Plantation April 15, 1921 one of seven children to Chesley and Hattie (Brewer) Crouse.
    She was a member of the Mars Hill Full Gospel Assembly Church. Martha took great interest in the lives of her family always concerned with their welfare. She enjoyed cooking for them especially her molasses cookies and date squares. She felt blessed to enjoy four generations of her family.
    Missing her greatly will be sons, Gary Dyer and his wife Geraldine of Mars Hill, Frank Hallett and his wife Pam of Portage Lake and North Fort Myers, FL; a daughter Debbie Alexander and her husband Jim of Blaine; grandchildren Gayle Gagnon, Gary Dyer Jr., Gregg Dyer, Geoffrey Dyer, Chris Hallett, Jessica Hargreaves, Jennifer Hallett, Jason Alexander and Jaime Tardif; great-grandchildren Chantal Pelletier, Lee Gagnon, Garrett, Erika, Emily, Annaliese, Regina, Haleigh and Andrew Dyer, Jack Hallett, Kayden and Kamron Tardif; great-great-grandchild Zachary Pelletier; sister Elizabeth Golder of Cheshire, CT and sister-in-law Kathleen Crouse of Blaine and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents and husband Martha is predeceased by brothers Delbert, Guy and Wellington Crouse; sisters Hilda Briggs, Mary Lewis Bell and Ruby Murphy and one great-granddaughter Victoria Rose Dyer.
    Relatives and friends may call at the Duncan Funeral Home in Mars Hill from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday at the Mars Hill Full Gospel Assembly with the Rev. Richard Bell officiating. A spring interment will be in the Kings Grove Cemetery in Mars Hill. Gifts in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Pastor Richard Bell, Dr. Eric Nicholas and the staff at the Aroostook Health Center LTC and SNF units for their kindness and caring during her illness.
