HHPR will be hosting a Kitten/Cat Adoption Fair on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at which time Carol, her siblings and many other kittens and young adults will be available for adoption. All proceeds for “Dancing for the Animals” will go to the future home of Halfway Home Pet Rescue. Admission is $5 per person and ID’s will be required. There will be door prizes, goodie-basket raffles and more going on throughout the evening. Steve Boddy of the KC & Company Disc Jockey Services has donated his time and music for this benefit and the Crow’s Nest has donated the space. “We are also launching our second annual $1 for $1,000 donation competition, which will begin on Nov. 10 continuing to Jan. 10, 2012,” said Milton, “the figure to beat this year is the $3,000, raised last year.” Halfway Home Pet Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit, state licensed animal shelter at 11 Pioneer Ave in Caribou; mailing address P.O.
