MPG to hold trade show and expo April 7-8

    PRESQUE ISLE – Maine Potato Growers (MPG), Inc. will host its third annual MPG Farm Days Trade Show & Expo April 7-8 at The Forum in Presque Isle. The show features all of MPG’s departments and more than 25 vendors.     MPG Farm Days offers growers the opportunity to have a hands-on look at the latest equipment and supplies. The Expo is the only local show of its kind specifically targeted to needs of farmers. The show continues to grow and has been eagerly anticipated by local growers. Participants are invited to review various product lines, attend equipment demonstrations and have qualified staff or vendor representatives answer questions they may have.
    “The MPG Farm Days has been a great success in past years and we are very excited once again this year to demonstrate the full range of products and services MPG provides our growers,” said Pierre Patenaude, MPG president and chief executive officer. “MPG’s mission is to efficiently provide value products, services and marketing to all of our customers. Our Farm Days Trade Show & Expo plays an integral part in attaining our mission.”
    The MPG Farm Days Trade Show & Expo is slated for Tuesday, April 7 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., followed by the chemical recertification meeting at 4 p.m. The Trade Show continues Wednesday, April 8 with a pancake breakfast at 6:30 a.m. with the show open from 8:30 a.m.-noon. All events take place at The Forum in Presque Isle.
