The ladies of Lister/Knowlton VFW Post 9389 Auxiliary in Caribou recently visited at the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen where they presented Shirley Fortin, manager, with a $500 donation to assist with the facility’s day-to-day operation of providing hot, healthy meals/staples to area families/individuals.

Members of the Lister/Knowlton VFW Post 9389 Ladies Auxiliary recently presented a $500 donation to Shirley Fortin, manager of the Bread of Life Soup Kitchen in Caribou. The donation will assist the local facility in its efforts to ensure local families and individuals will have access for hot, healthy meals and/or food supplies, throughout the coming winter months. “This is part of our annual Make A Difference Day,” said Pat Edgecomb, Auxiliary president, as she and six other Auxiliary members presented Fortin with the donation.
