Election-KBarnes-dc1-Ar-44 Kevin Barnes, 40, is vying to be elected to the Board of the Jefferson Cary Memorial Hospital Fund.

Barnes has a strong financial background stemming from earning a MBA from the University of Maine and employment as a farm loan officer with the USDA.

A life-long resident of Caribou, the candidate said he had decided to run for this position because “I want to serve this community, as a way of giving back.”

Barnes stated that the most important issue facing the community is “out-migration, job opportunities and the aging population.”

His primary goal if elected is, “to ensure viability of the fund which contributes to quality health care at Cary Medical Center.”

The candidate stated that voters should consider him for this position because of his “financial knowledge and his dedication and commitment to the Caribou community.”
