On Sunday, Nov.13, members of the 152nd Field Artillery Association (Maine National Guard) will sponsor a presentation of the documentary film, “The Way We Get By,” the Emmy Award-nominated story of the Bangor Troop Greeters. This showing will begin at 2 p.m. at the Caribou Performing Arts Center.
Original cast members, as well as the film’s director, will provide an introductory to the documentary and will participate in an audience question and answer period following the conclusion of the film.
There is no charge for this event but donations will gratefully be accepted, benefiting the 152nd FA Association, whose mission is to maintain/document the long history of the National Guard Unit, through archives of military documents, personal memorabilia and newspaper clippings and photographs of the men and women who served in the Maine National Guard 152nd Field Artillery ranks, from its earliest day through several years ago when the 152nd FA colors were retired.
