Kelley, Fred H., formerly of Caribou, at Dowling Park, Florida, on September 28, 2011. At his request, the burial service will be in Buckhannon, West Virginia.


American Flag ColorFred H. Kelley, formerly of Caribou and Portland, passed away September 28, in the nursing home at Dowling Park, Florida.

He and his wife, Eva, lived on Forest Avenue in Portland before moving to Florida in 2004.

He is preceded by George Kelley, his oldest son. He has three children, Rick, Randy and Jaciel; a daughter-in-law, Ginny Kelley; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, one stepdaughter and four stepsons.

He served in the 82nd Airborne in the Glider Infantry as a radio operator. Fred owned Kelley Motors in Caribou before moving to Portland, Maine in 1970. In Portland, he worked at Swearingen Motors for several years and then owned Kar City on Park Avenue.

At his request, the burial service will be in Buckhannon, West Virginia.
