Francis Malcolm Science Center open house

The Francis Malcolm Science Center will be holding an open house on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 10a.m. to 2 p.m.

Highlights throughout the day will include planetarium demonstrations of new SciDome HD digital technology (space is limited for this demonstration and reservations are required).

Also featured will be model rocket launches (weather permitting); an introduction to amateur radio, presented by David Deschene and Ivan Shaprio; wood carving demonstrations and displays by local artist Tom Cote; and a “hands-on ocean touch tank experiences.

There is no charge to attend this event.
