Recent graduates from the Caribou Public Library’s Babies & Books Program were presented with their completion certificates and display the library books which will contain their individual names in recognition of their completion of the program. “Babies & Books” provides the family with their baby’s first library card; a variety of handouts that give tips and suggestions regarding age-appropriate activities; a free board book and an invitation to attend “Mother Goose Time” beginning at the time of the child’s birth until age one.

Upon reaching one year of age, the young library member receives a certificate of completion and at that time, a book is placed in the children’s section at the library with containing baby’s name, stating that they have completed the “Babies & Books” program.

Recent graduates from the program, which is hosted by Jean Shaw, children’s librarian, include Eamon Boyd, Evan Belanger, Dawson Lee Cyr, Zackary Dumond, Danika Dahlgren, Ayen Phoenix Guillotte, Landyn William Cote, Trenton F. Delise and Gabriel J. Barron.
