Grades 1-2 soccer
The Caribou Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting registrations for its grades 1-2 soccer program which gets under way Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30 p.m. through Oct. 6. Pre-registration is required and the deadline is Sept. 2.
All About Me
This program is designed for girls in grades 7-11 and the goal is for girls to grow and learn through skills training, mentoring, journaling and self-awareness activities. Girls will work on topics such as conflict resolution, healthy living, positive self esteem and building and cultivating healthy relationships.
Pre-registration is required. The first session runs Aug. 30-Dec. 1 and meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-6 p.m. The fee is $25.
Sandbaggers after-school golf program
Intended for youths in grades 6-8, this program meets Mondays and Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. beginning Aug. 29 at Caribou Country Club. Participants should bring their own clubs, but some equipment is available. Pre-registration is required.
