Betty Anne (Ireland) Kirk, age 69, died on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at The Johnson Center in Centennial, Colorado after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. Born December 13, 1941, in Caribou, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Margaret (Beaumaster) Ireland. She graduated from Caribou High School in 1960.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jerry Kirk. Surviving are one son, Tim Moody of West Jordan, Utah; stepson Scott Kirk and his wife, Norma of Littleton, CO.; stepdaughter Jerilyn Fisher and her husband Bill of Westminster, California, as well as several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Keith Ireland and his wife Phyllis of Caribou; three sisters, Gaynelle Whitener and her husband Merle of Van Buren; Cindy Dunfee and her husband Keith of Bradford; and Sheila Beaulieu and her husband Mike of Caribou, along with many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service was held on July 25, 2011, at 10 a.m. at the Fort Logan National Cemetery with Wanjiru Mukunga, chaplain of the Johnson Center, officiating.
