Above, Hilltop Elementary second-graders recently had two special guests visit their classrooms when U. S. Customs and Border Protection Agent Dennis Kovach and his canine companion Mike spent time at the school. Explaining to the elementary students about some of the things his job requires as well as what Mike’s job is like, Agent Kovach reminded the second-graders of the dangers of drugs and importance of saying “no.” Agent Kovach and Mike are shown here with members of Mrs. McLauchlan and Miss Roy’s class.
