Members of Sportsmen, Inc. of Stockholm have announced they will be sponsoring another kayak raffle this year in conjunction with their annual June Fishing Derby which is scheduled to take place on Father’s Day weekend, June 18 and 19. Although anglers may fish on any of the five Fish River chain of lakes, registration and trophy weigh-ins will be done at the Cross Lake boat landing.
This year bigger cash prizes will be awarded to the first and second largest salmon and brook trout caught. Again this year the Sportsmen Inc., will raffle off a pair of 12-foot Old Town kayaks with paddles. One $5 ticket enters participants in both the fishing derby and the raffle.
