All-Star Gymnastics
All-star gymnastics will be held at the Fort Fairfield Community Center gymnasium starting Monday, April 25. Two separate classes will be held each Monday afternoon, one from 4-5 p.m. and the other from 5-6 p.m.
Participants will be grouped within each class based on their gymnastic ability. The cost for the six-week program is $45 per student with a $10 discount given for each additional family member who participates.
Registration will be offered on the first day of the program by showing up 15 minutes prior to the start of the class. For more information, contact Allison Wheeler at 227-6335 or the Fort Fairfield Community Center at 472-3882.
Girls basketball
Basketball for girls of all ages is being held at the Fort Fairfield Community Center on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. The program is informal with teams being selected each night from those in attendance. There is no charge to participate.
Dodgeball
Dodgeball for boys and girls in grades 3-8 will be held at the community center gymnasium on Wednesday, April 20 and Friday, April 22. On each day, grades 3-5 will play from noon-1 p.m. and grades 6-8 from 2-3 p.m. There is no charge to participate.
Wiffle ball
Wiffle ball for boys and girls in grades 3-8 will be held at the community center on Wednesday, April 20 and Friday, April 22. Grades 3-5 will play from 1-2 p.m. and grades 6-8 from 3-4 p.m. There is no charge to participate.
Zumba
Zumba for boys and girls of all ages is being held at the community center gymnasium on Friday, April 22 from 11 a.m.-noon. Anyone under the age of nine should be accompanied by a responsible chaperone. Kim Griffeth will lead the class and there is no charge.
Co-ed basketball
Co-ed basketball will be held Thursday, April 21 with grades 2-4 playing games from 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m. and grades 5-8 from 3:30-5 p.m. There is no charge to participate.
Movie trip
On Thursday, April 21 a field trip is scheduled to the Caribou Movie Theater to see either “Hop” or “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” Both movies are rated PG. The cost is $5 per person and includes transportation, entrance to the movie and one free popcorn and soda. Participants must be nine years of age or older to attend or be accompanied by a responsible chaperone. The bus will depart from the Fort Fairfield Community Center at 12:15 p.m. and return at approximately 3 p.m. The movie begins at 1 p.m.
