Gov. Paul LePage, Little Miss Maine Potato Queen Amber Moir, Junior Miss Maine Potato Queen Victoria Keaton, both of Caribou, and State Rep. Peter Edgecomb (R-Caribou), gathered in the governor’s cabinet room at the Statehouse on March 31 during the girls’ trip to Augusta. Both girls served as honorary pages for that day’s legislative session and had the opportunity to deliver messages and documents to members in the House chamber. After session, the girls had the opportunity to meet the governor. Both queens will be giving up their crowns at the 2011 Potato Blossom Festival in July.
