The Caribou Little League will hold a registration meeting for the 2011 season on Wednesday, April 5 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Caribou Middle School cafeteria.
All girls and boys that are 9 to 12 years old on or before April 30, 2011 are urged to attend with their parents. Those youngsters trying out for the first time are required to bring a copy of their birth certificate or a document which will verify their birth date, as well as a completed application form.
Applications for Little League Baseball will be available at the Hilltop, Teague Park, Connor, Woodland and New Sweden schools; the Caribou Middle School and the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Applications may also be obtained at the meeting on Wednesday, April 5. Returning players who are still eligible to play in the league must fill out a new application form for 2011 and are also encouraged to attend this meeting with their parents.
Along with receiving information for the upcoming season, all managers will be introduced and a raffle will be held with some lucky winners taking home Little League baseballs, gift certificates from Reno’s Family Restaurant and many other prizes.
Tryouts for 2011 are scheduled for Saturday, April 9 at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center gymnasium. The second and final tryout information will be announced at this registration meeting. All those interested in playing Little League Baseball this summer are urged to try out as there will be openings for many new players.
