Northern Aroostook Republican County Chair, Dan Deveau, has announced that the following Aroostook County towns of Fort Kent, Madawaska, Van Buren, Eagle Lake, Frenchville, Saint Agatha, Allagash, St. Francis, Wallagrass, Madawaska Lake TWP, Stockholm, Sinclair TWP, Cross Lake TWP, New Canada, Grand Isle, Hamlin, Winterville PLT. St. John PLT, and Cyr PLT; will caucus on Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. on March 19, at Rocks Family Diner located at 378 Main Street in Fort Kent.
The purpose of the regional caucus is to organize northern Aroostook County owns, to elect members of the Aroostook County Republican Committee and to prepare for upcoming elections.
Registered voters who are enrolled in the Republican Party in the above towns are eligible to attend community caucuses at the above location.
Those who have yet to register to vote or are not enrolled in the Republican Party, may do so at their local municipal office before the above caucus date.
Town caucuses for Central and Southern Aroostook County Towns will be announced in the coming weeks.
