PRESQUE ISLE — Four state qualifiers and a tied school record highlighted Saturday’s swim meet at the Presque Isle Indoor pool.
Wildcat Isaac Estey tied the school record in the 100 yard breaststroke with his finishing time of 1:10.37. Alex Forbes set that record in 2005. Estey also qualified for States in the 100 butterfly with his finishing time of 59.76.

Other State qualifiers for the Wildcats were: Shae Adler (100 backstroke, 1:15.40); Erikka Murley (100 butterfly, 1:16.42); and Erica Hemphill (200 freestyle, 2:23.66; and 500 free, 6:30.00).
In the combined team scores Hampden Academy beat Presque Isle 103-64; Presque Isle beat Caribou 107-29; and Hampden Academy beat Caribou 128-24. In the boys team scores, Hampden Academy beat Presque Isle 54-23; Presque Isle beat Caribou 49-7; and Hampden Academy defeated Caribou, 61-3. In the girls team scores, Hampden Academy beat Presque Isle 49-41; PIHS bested Caribou 58-22; and Hampden Academy defeated Caribou 67-21.
The individual girls results for local swimmers were:
200 medley relay — 1, Presque Isle A (Adler, Alecia Palmer, Hemphill, Murley) 2:13.30; and 3, Caribou A (Corlyn Cavender, Tulsi Johnson, Rachel Wasson and Rilee Elliott), 2:48.09.
