Caribou Chamber seeks recognition nominations

The Caribou Chamber of Commerce and Industry reminds residents that, “Too seldom do we say thank you to those individuals or organizations which make a difference in our community, through their investment and commitment to us. The Annual Chamber Recognition Dinner is a single opportunity to personally thank and recognize the individuals that make a real difference in this community.

“Their confidence in our community is inspiring and their investment of time and energy is empowering. Help us (CCC&I) by taking the time to nominate a business or person who is deserving of either the Business of the Year or the Citizen of the Year awards.”

Selection criteria for Business of the Year may include: improvements which have had a positive impact on the community; improvements which have increased their value as an asset to Caribou; investments which have increased the company’s abilities to provide goods and/or services to our community: and major achievements within the business field are considered.

Selection criteria for Citizen of the Year may include: outstanding service to the community; and significant service to others, above and beyond excellence in one’s own profession, business, service or enterprise.

To nominate an individual or business fax, e-mail or bring supporting information to CCC&I no later than Jan. 31.

Awards will be presented to the Caribou resident or business, irrespective of CCC&I membership. There is no entry form necessary for nominations.

Although an exact date has yet to be determined, the Annual CCC&I Recognition Dinner will be held in March.
