Organizers for the 2011 Caribou Winter Carnival, which promises events that will fill the whole month of February, are encouraging everyone (individuals or clubs) to register their event with the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department in order to have the event included in the winter carnival flyers and other planned advertising. The 2011 Caribou Winter Carnival is sponsored in part by the Caribou Chamber of commerce and Industry and the Caribou parks and Recreation department.
The deadline for having events in these flyers is Friday, January 21. Registration forms are available at the Caribou Wellness Center and the Caribou Chamber office.
A second organizational meeting is scheduled to be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Wellness Center.
