Morgan, an employee of Tractor Supply Co. in Presque Isle, takes time at the end of her work shift to give some extra loving to Donna, a 13-year-old, spayed, de-clawed female resident of the Halfway Home Pet Rescue foster system. Leukemia tested, with all her shots, clean of any parasites, spayed and de-clawed, Donna is free to a good home. Her vet checkup confirmed that she is in excellent health. The Tractor Supply Co. is the most recent member of the Foster Care Program with the Pet Cart provided by Halfway Home Pet Rescue. Employees at the Tractor Supply volunteer the daily care and loving attention of Donna and encourage customers to consider adopting her. Toby’s Treasures will be open on Thursday, Dec, 23, from 1 to 5 p.m. with special pricing of Christmas gifts for the thrifty shopper. Toby’s will be closed Dec. 24-26. The Marie Joyce Allen Free Pet Food Pantry has been re-stocked by the public and will be open on Thursday, Dec. 23 and Tuesday, Dec. 28.
